Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Prior experience in school settings is highly preferred
- Competence in working with pediatric populations
- Skills in delivering speech services both in-person and via teletherapy
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on student needs
- Provide direct therapy services within school-based and teletherapy sessions
- Track student progress and document therapy activities according to school/district guidelines
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Educate and support teaching staff and families on speech and language development
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, district, and professional standards
