Seeking passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to serve students in a highly supportive school district during the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple full-time contract positions are available, each offering unique experiences, collaborative teams, and opportunities to make a meaningful impact.
Choose from three distinct assignments based on your interests and experience:
Assignment #1 Serve students ages 321 at a self-contained school for children who are medically fragile and profoundly impaired. Partner with another full-time SLP onsite. Experience with AAC devices and a compassionate, family-focused approach are essential.
Assignment #2 Divide your time between two elementary schools, each with another SLP onsite for collaboration and support. Build meaningful connections with younger students and work as part of a team.
Assignment #3 Manage a full-time caseload split between Welcome Elementary (three days weekly with another full-time SLP) and students enrolled in the districts virtual academy, with an additional location to be determined. Flexibility and adaptability will be valuable in this dynamic role.
Requirements:
- Active South Carolina SLP License
- South Carolina Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of AAC devices (particularly for assignment #1)
- Compassionate, collaborative, and adaptable
