Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to cover a maternity leave in a K-12 school setting located in Detroit, MI. This contract position runs from ASAP through March, providing crucial services to a diverse caseload of approximately 40 students with a range of communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grades
  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state standards
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Michigan-issued SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience providing speech-language pathology services in school settings
  • Strong understanding of developmental communication disorders and intervention strategies
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:10 PM (Full-time)
