A full-time or part-time on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in an elementary school setting located in Detroit, MI. This contract position offers a valuable experience working with pediatric students, helping to support and develop their communication skills in a dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success strategies.
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Strong experience working in school settings preferred.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience is advantageous.
- Pediatric SLP skills and familiarity with elementary school age groups.
