Job Description

A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting in Detroit, MI. This contract position offers a dynamic role supporting pediatric students in their communication development, with the option to work on-site throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Michigan SLP license required
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with school-based speech therapy and educational settings is highly valued
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is desirable

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies
  • Monitor and report on student outcomes throughout the school year
