Job Description

A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide on-site services within a K-12 setting for the 2025-2026 school year in Detroit, MI. This contract role supports students across various grade levels to develop and improve their speech and language skills, contributing directly to their academic success and overall communication development.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, assess, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records of student evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting.

Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within school settings, is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and school staff.
