Job Description

Job Overview:
We are actively hiring Speech-Language Pathologists for the 20262027 school year in Desoto, TX. This is a full-time, onsite school-based opportunity with the option of serving students across elementary through high school levels within a close-knit district.
You will play a critical role in providing speech and language therapy services, supporting student communication development, and collaborating with education teams to help students succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

 - Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in a school setting
 - Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring
 - Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
 - Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
 - Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
 - Manage caseloads across one or potentially two school sites
 - Submit weekly time logs for approval


Position Details:

Full-time: 37.5 hours/week
Typically assigned to 1 school (may cover 2 if needed)
Small district with minimal travel between sites
Flexible scheduling within assigned schools
4 openings available


Important Notes

Candidates must track and submit weekly time logs for approval
Compensation is based on actual days worked (no pay during school closures or absences)


Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

 - Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
 - Ability to work onsite in a school setting


Preferred Qualifications

 - School-based or pediatric experience
 - Familiarity with IEPs and special education processes
 - Strong communication and organizational skills
 - Ability to manage caseloads across multiple campuses if needed
