What youll bring:

  • Active Illinois State License (IDFPR) and ISBE Professional Educator License with an SL endorsement
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply; clinical fellows will be considered
  • Skills in pediatric SLP, including assessment and intervention for diverse populations
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities

Your key responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to varying student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to support students academic and social development
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent conferences as needed
