Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and implement therapy plans effectively
  • Compassion, patience, and creativity in delivering individualized interventions

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual needs as outlined in IEPs
  • Manage caseload, maintain accurate and timely documentation, and monitor progress
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and special education teams to promote student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and contribute to collaborative planning
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions as required
  • Serve as a resource for staff and parents on speech-language topics
