Job Description

A speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Denver, CO, serving a K-12 school district for the current school year on a contract basis. This role involves providing support to middle school students across three school sites, with a caseload of approximately 38 students. The position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, focused on delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy to students to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification for school service.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
