Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting near Denton, MD. This full-time position brings you into an elementary (K-2) environment, allowing you to make a real difference each day through interaction, assessment, and interventionall while enjoying a single-site assignment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology License required
• SLP-CCC certification
• Experience with pediatric and school-based populations (K-2 preferred)
• Comfortable conducting both assessments and student evaluations, developing and updating IEPs
• Skilled in providing direct therapy services and maintaining effective documentation
• Strong communicator, able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, students, and families

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students
• Develop, maintain, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide targeted, evidence-based direct therapy to individuals and small groups
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with staff and families to monitor student progress and meet communication goals
• Manage documentation, report writing, and necessary compliance tasks within provided hours

What to Expect:

• Contract runs from 10/1 to 12/31, with the possibility of extensions based on need
• Full-time hours (35 per week) at a single elementary campusno travel required
• All hours worked within your contract are paid, including team meetings and administrative tasks
