Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a K-12 public school setting in Deltona, Florida. This contract position spans the entire school year, providing the opportunity to support students communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning sessions

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage caseload effectively within a contract school-year period
