Job Description

An opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide vital services within a K-12 school setting in Decatur, GA. This position is focused on delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy to students, fostering their communication skills and academic success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist License with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Previous experience working with K-12 student populations, particularly those with special needs.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative abilities.

Location:

  • Decatur, GA (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Provide direct therapy and consultative services as outlined in IEPs.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
