This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive support within a K-12 school setting in Dearborn, MI. This leave replacement contract position is ideal for an SLP with a valid Michigan license, ready to step in as soon as possible and continue through March to cover maternity leave. The role involves working full-time Monday through Friday, from 8:15 AM to 3:10 PM.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 40 students with various speech and language disabilities. You'll collaborate closely with educators and other specialists to develop and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs. Additionally, you will perform evaluations, provide direct therapy services, and document progress in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Michigan State Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
