Job Description

A full-semester contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 school setting. This role is ideal for a professional experienced in delivering high-quality speech-language support, including in-person and teletherapy interventions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for students across K-12 grades
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
  • Providing direct therapy services both in the classroom and through teletherapy platforms
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
  • Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification and licensure applicable to school-based practice
  • Experience working in K-12 school environments with diverse student populations
  • Proficiency in teletherapy delivery and technology integration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet varied student needs and learning styles
