Job Description

Two full-time Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) positions are available in Mobile, AL, providing services within K-12 school settings. These contract roles involve working 35 hours per week, five days a week, supporting students across kindergarten through 12th grade.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid registration with the Board of Speech Examiners is required.
  • Certified Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 students is preferred.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills tailored to diverse student needs.
  • Collaborative approach to working with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged children.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
  • Participate in regular meetings and IEP team discussions.

  • This role is based in Mobile, Alabama, with potential service delivery in nearby schools.
