Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist supporting PreK8th grade students in a welcoming school community near Daly City, CA. This dynamic position offers the chance to foster growth for approximately 19 students three days per week during the upcoming school year. Youll collaborate alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team, utilizing your expertise in both in-person and virtual therapy to help students achieve their communication goals.

Ideal candidates are experienced with pediatric caseloads and comfortable providing care in school settings, including remote service delivery. Whether youre seasoned or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year, this is a fantastic opportunity to advance your practice in an engaging educational environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist credential (active or eligible)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but candidates in CFY will be considered
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
  • Proficiency in delivering speech therapy services via teletherapy platforms as needed
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
  • Comfort working independently with PreK8 caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop, and implement IEPs for students with speech and language needs
  • Provide individual and small-group therapy targeting communication skills
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff
  • Adapt interventions for both in-person and teletherapy delivery
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere
