Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful impact within an elementary school setting in Dallas, TX. This part-time position involves providing essential support to students requiring speech and language services, ensuring their educational needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid Texas state license as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and the evaluation process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location:
Dallas, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student evaluations to assess speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with educators and other specialists across the district
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and required services
  • Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
