Job Description

This contract position for a Skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is designed for the upcoming school year, focusing on providing essential communication services to elementary students.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop tailored IEPs for approximately 70 students.
  • Provide direct services in speech therapy, addressing the needs of students from Pre-K through 2nd grade.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to implement RTI services, ensuring a holistic support system for students.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with educational regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians regarding student development and strategies for support.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Georgia SLP license.
  • Certification from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
  • Relevant experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
