Job Description

In Cumming, GA, three full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are sought for the upcoming school year. This role involves working within a collaborative special education team to provide essential services to students across multiple school sites, addressing various needs such as ADH, Emotional, SLD, and developmental delays.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school setting
  • Proficient in teletherapy practices
  • Familiarity with collaborative team approaches in special education

Location:
Cumming, GA Multiple School Sites (K-12)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide testing for students requiring speech and language services
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with special education teams
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with identified speech and language needs
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as necessary
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences to discuss student development and needs
