Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist ready to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 educational setting. This position is based in Crystal Lake, IL, for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year and involves working directly with students to support their communication needs.

Qualifications:

  • Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License
  • PEL ASHA Certification; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
  • Bilingual in Spanish, enhancing communication with diverse student populations
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Offer consultation and guidance on communication development to staff and families
