Job Description

Embark on an exciting contract opportunity supporting students communication growth in a vibrant educational setting near Crown Point, IN. Two skilled professionals are needed to deliver onsite speech-language pathology services for the 2026-2027 school year. With full-time hours and fulfilling caseloads, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference from August 12, 2026, through May 26, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLP license for schools with CCC credentials
  • Experience in school-based settings, specifically with elementary and/or middle school populations
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload of 45-55 students
  • Strong assessment, IEP development, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families

Role Details:

  • 37.5-hour work week, onsite only
  • First professional will serve both an elementary and a middle school (1 building each)
  • Second professional will work across two middle school buildings
  • Provide evaluations, individualized and group therapy, as well as consultation to staff and families
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to students needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate in a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Serve as an advocate for students language and communication development
