Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in an elementary and middle school setting located in Crestview, FL. This contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through May 28, 2026, supporting students in grades ranging from elementary to middle school. The position offers an engaging opportunity to deliver speech and language services within a school environment, helping students develop critical communication skills to support academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments, diagnoses, and therapy to students from elementary through middle school levels.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Monitor and document student progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development sessions.
  • Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and school policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Florida Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required.
  • Previous experience working as an SLP within a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educational teams and families.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and maintain detailed records.
  • Commitment to providing evidence-based, student-centered therapeutic services.

Location and Work Hours:

  • On-site position located in Crestview, Florida.
  • Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
  • Services provided primarily within elementary and middle school age groups.
