Job Description

This contract opportunity is ideal for a qualified Speech Language Pathologist or School Speech Language Pathology Assistant holding an OR SLP-CCC certification. Serving K-12 students across two adjacent schools in Cottage Grove, OR, this role provides a dynamic educational setting with a workload of approximately 30 hours per week from August 25 through May 22, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments and develop individualized goals.
  • Lead and actively participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to a caseload of 34 students.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of case management independently, including scheduling and organization.
  • Prepare detailed IEP drafts 7 to 10 days prior to meetings.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Current Oregon Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
  • Experience working within school-based settings, preferably with K-12 populations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Self-sufficient with excellent communication and coordination abilities.
