Job Description

Engage your expertise in a supportive K-12 environment located in Corvallis, OR, where your skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a significant impact. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with students, providing essential communication support and fostering their educational growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress in alignment with IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students overall development.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and progress notes as required by regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
