Job Description

A K-12 public school in Converse, TX is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position lasting from August through June 2026. This is a full-time, onsite role working 37.5 hours per week with a caseload serving students across all grade levels (K-12). Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Texas SLP-CCC license and have experience or interest in pediatrics and school settings. Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy to students from kindergarten through grade 12
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to address diverse pediatric speech and language needs

Qualifications:

  • Texas SLP-CCC license required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates accepted
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
