Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K12 school setting in Colorado Springs, CO. This school-based role offers a manageable caseload with a strong emphasis on collaboration and support within the special education team. The position is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, serving 12 school locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to K12 students
- Collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families to support student communication goals
- Manage individualized caseloads within school settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Speech Language Pathologist License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCSLP)
- Experience in school-based settings is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration
- Ability to provide services in compliance with state and federal guidelines
