Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in Clovis, CA. This contract role spans the full school year and requires onsite attendance.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years of California school experience and one year of Special Education Information System (SEIS) experience. Experience supervising SLP Assistants (SLPAs) and facilitators is preferred, as is the ability to manage a high volume of caseloads and referrals efficiently. Speech-Language Pathology professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply. Note that this role does not accept SLPAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and therapy services to students across K-12 grades
  • Manage and maintain a caseload of up to 60-65 students, including 25-30 students receiving speech-only services
  • Collaborate with educational teams and support staff to meet student needs
  • Supervise SLPAs as availability permits
  • Accurately document services and maintain compliance with state and district requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid California credential for school-based SLP services
  • Minimum of 2 years of California school experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with SEIS
  • Preferred experience supervising SLPAs and facilitators
  • Ability to effectively manage large caseloads and referrals
  • Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply

This position offers a structured work week with 37.5 hours scheduled per week, providing stability and routine. Eligible candidates will work full-time during the school year calendar.
