Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an early childhood school serving children ages 3 to 5 in Clifton Park, NY. This contract position runs throughout the current school year (CSY) and offers a dynamic setting to apply pediatric and educational speech therapy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged children in a school environment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student progress monitoring

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification is required
  • Experience in school-based pediatric speech therapy preferred
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent clinical experience
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is a strong asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on childrens development

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 5 days per week
