Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy (SLP-Pediatrics).
  • Familiarity with school settings (SLP-School).
  • Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred.
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid California SLP license and clearance.

Location:
Chula Vista, CA, with assignments in elementary schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and district regulations regarding therapy services.
