A school located near Chinle, AZ is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the upcoming academic year. This role focuses on serving K-6 students, providing essential speech and language intervention within a collaborative educational setting.
Youll work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, and become an integral part of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise with pediatric populations in school environments, a passion for individualized care, and strong collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona SLP license and current fingerprint clearance card required
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric speech and language disorders, preferably within school settings
- Solid communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess students speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Provide direct therapy services and group sessions
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary interventions
