Job Description

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year (CSY) from February through May, serving an elementary school setting in Chicago, IL. The role involves providing onsite, hands-on support to a caseload of 25 elementary-aged students. This contract opportunity requires a professional educator licensed with a Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) endorsement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized speech and language services to elementary students
  • Managing and treating communication disorders within the assigned caseload
  • Collaborating with school staff and families to support student progress
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with relevant educational standards

Qualifications:

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement for Illinois
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorder interventions
  • Ability to provide services onsite, adhering to school schedules and policies

This role does not offer virtual or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) hours; all therapy services are provided in-person.
