Job Description

A skilled professional is sought for a contract position in a K-12 school setting in Chicago, IL. This role is ideal for those holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and looking to make a meaningful impact on students communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • CCC certification
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Experience working with K-12 students
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of IEPs and special education processes

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide diagnosis for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP discussions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
