Job Description

This role focuses on providing essential communication support to K-12 students, ensuring their diverse needs are met effectively. This position runs from ASAP until May 30, 2025, offering a 37.5 hour workweek for the current school year.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Speech Language Pathologist License (SLP-CCC)
  • Proven experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
  • Strong assessment and evaluative skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation

Location:

  • Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educational staff
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress reports for each student
