Job Description

A unique opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists looking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This position focuses on providing support to students with mild to moderate speech and language needs within a K-12 environment.

Location: Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide treatment for students requiring speech and language support.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions.
  • Deliver services in a one-on-one setting at a single school site, fostering strong relationships with students and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools through ISBE.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
