Make a meaningful impact by providing speech and language support to students in a K-12 setting for the upcoming school year. This onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with educators, families, and students in a supportive educational environment, ensuring each child receives individualized care and assistance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Current South Carolina Teaching Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in K-12 schools preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students as assigned
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Communicate regularly with teachers, school staff, and parents regarding student progress and needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student success
- Support students' communication goals both in and out of the classroom
