Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) or Assistant is needed to support K-8 students in an elementary school setting in Charlotte, NC. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide vital speech and language services to children within the school year schedule, working 24 hours per week over three days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy interventions tailored to students' needs
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support communication development
  • Conduct assessments and document student progress in compliance with educational standards
  • Implement teletherapy sessions as appropriate to enhance access and continuity of care
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Enthusiasm for working in a school environment with pediatric populations
  • Experience with pediatric speech and language disorders preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy and school-based therapy practices is a plus
