Job Description

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide leave coverage within a K-12 school setting in Chandler, AZ. This contract role involves supporting multiple schools through various leave of absence assignments, with flexible schedules tailored to each placement's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in preschool and elementary school settings
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona SLP license
  • Completion of IVP fingerprint background check
  • Current National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred
  • Credentialed with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is advantageous

Assignment Details:

  • Four separate leave coverage opportunities, all part-time
  • Dates and schedules:
    • 1/5/265/21/26: 3 days per week
    • 2/4/265/21/26 (Preschool): 3 days per week
    • 3/23/265/21/26 (Elementary): 2 days per week
    • 4/20/265/21/26 (Elementary): 4 days per week
  • Location: Chandler, AZ, within public school settings serving K-12 students
