Job Description

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in CFY and CCC credentials is needed for a K-12 school setting located in Novato, CA. This is a contract position available for the full school year (NSY), offering flexibility with options for onsite work, teletherapy, or travel assignments.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, particularly focusing on students using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices. The role requires evaluating students speech and language capabilities, collaborating closely with educators and staff, participating actively in IEP meetings, and completing detailed reporting to support student progress.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) and/or CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Experience in assessing students utilizing AAC devices
  • Strong skills in conducting evaluations and developing treatment plans in a school environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other school staff
  • Comfortable participating in IEP meetings and preparing comprehensive reports
