Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with credentials as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide vital support in a K-12 educational setting located in Napa, CA. This contract role spans the natural school year with flexible options for travel assignments, onsite work, or teletherapy engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, with a focus on students utilizing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices.
  • Evaluate student communication needs and progress, contributing detailed, accurate reports to guide individualized educational programming.
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, advocating for each students unique goals and therapy plans.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and support staff to implement effective speech-language services and foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP credentials: CFY or CCC certification.
  • Experience assessing and treating students who use AAC devices.
  • Comfort with diverse service delivery models, including onsite, teletherapy, and travel assignments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage with multidisciplinary school teams effectively.
