Job Description

An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide crucial speech-language pathology services in an elementary school setting. This role is essential in supporting the communication needs of students, helping them achieve their educational goals and fostering their development.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in a school setting, particularly with elementary students
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with educational technology and resources

Location:

  • Hayward, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment
