Qualifications we're seeking:

  • Active Maryland SLP License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience providing speech-language services in a school setting, with Maryland schools experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with working in itinerant roles and adapting to a variety of student needs and school environments
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Dedication to fostering positive student development

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting a diverse caseload consisting of students with mild to severe needs, across multiple school sites
  • Delivering direct services and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Focusing on a self-contained high school group as well as spot fill needs across other grade levels
  • Conducting assessments, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to IEP process and meetings
  • Traveling between school sites within the district to provide consistent, quality care
  • Remaining onsite throughout the duration of the assignment

This contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027, for 37.5 hours per week.

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.00 to $55.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
