Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Centralia, IL, for the 2025-2026 school year, offering a part-time schedule of 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments to K-12 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate effective interventions.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Active Professional Educators License for Illinois schools or Illinois State License for SLP/SLPA.
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary, middle, and high school students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation.
