Job Description

Step into an impactful opportunity supporting K-12 students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite contract position provides full-time engagement across elementary, middle, and high school settings, serving students with a broad range of communication challengesfrom mild articulation issues to more complex language and social communication needs.

Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist License (Department of Health)
  • Valid Washington State OSPI ESA license with SLP endorsement (full licensure required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language services including screening, assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals for eligible students
  • Provide direct and consultative support for a diverse caseload featuring a mix of mild to severe disabilities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with teachers and caregivers
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings as needed, in person or virtually
  • Offer training and resources to staff and families to promote generalization of skills

This contract role is structured for a traditional school schedule, working Monday through Friday, seven hours per day. Interviews will be held promptly via Zoom or in person, based on your preference, to expedite placement for the upcoming school year.
