Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP as required by state regulations
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, or CFY considered
  • Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Sound organizational and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct formal and informal assessments of students speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Track student progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing assessment data and recommendations
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom
