Ideal candidates will bring:
- Michigan licensure as an SLP (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in educational or healthcare settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to students in grades K8
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment data and student needs
- Complete comprehensive assessments, screenings, and progress documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor student development and transition planning
- Educate caregivers and school personnel on strategies to support carryover of skills
- Maintain compliance with school district and state guidelines for service delivery
