Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Background with school-based IEP processes and team collaboration
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of various communication disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals tailored to student needs
- Deliver engaging, effective therapy sessions (individual and group) within the school schedule
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and ensure consistent communication
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
