Qualifications:

  • Current North Carolina license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) preferred
  • Experience in healthcare and school settings, particularly with pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and collaborative teaching models
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students' speech and language needs, developing appropriate intervention plans
  • Manage a caseload of 45 to 50 students, providing tailored support to facilitate their communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student care
  • Implement and monitor progress on IEP goals, adjusting therapy as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
