A part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Cambridge, MA. This contract position is specifically designed to cover a leave, providing essential support for K-12 students within the school. The role involves working onsite for one day per week, delivering specialized speech and language services to the student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies and professional standards.
- Provide ongoing communication regarding student performance and therapy goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Massachusetts Speech Language Pathology (SLP) License.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with pediatric populations.
- Knowledge of speech-language developmental milestones and disorders typical in school-aged children.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educational teams and families.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain detailed documentation.
