A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school located near Hokah, MN. This position offers a full-semester contract and provides weekly, hourly pay along with benefits for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across K-12 grade levels.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as a key team member.
- Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children in grades K-12, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time according to school needs.
